Filipa de Almeida Ribeiro was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal. She is fluent in three languages – Portuguese, English, and Spanish. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a postgraduate diploma in Economics from the University of Bradford in the UK.
Filipa has over 14 years of experience in business development within the events industry. She has successfully driven sales and business development efforts, securing new business opportunities and strategic partnerships. Her expertise primarily lies in the energy sector, across Europe, Latin America, and North America.
She has successfully contributed to the sales and development of various events, including mid to large-sized conferences and exhibitions. Having lived in London for many years, Filipa has cultivated a deep understanding of the international business landscape. In her current role as Sponsorship Manager at the Energy Conference Network, she excels at creating valuable sponsorship opportunities and fostering strong participation in industry events.
Outside of her professional life, Filipa enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
