Symon Rubens
Symon Rubens has 25 years of experience in managing and growing business conference organizations across 5 continents. His conference career commenced at Terrapinn where he held production, sales, and management positions in Australia and Singapore, before becoming Managing Director of the Australasian operations in 2003. In 2007, he opened Terrapinn’s Middle East operations, before becoming Regional Managing Director of IQPC Middle East, Africa, and India. In 2014 Symon left IQPC to start The Rubens Group, a consulting and trading company based in Dubai, and in 2015 he moved to Houston to establish the Energy Conference Network and the Mining Innovation Network, which have grown to be amongst the largest energy and mining business media companies in the world.
